The Langtry Estate and Vineyards provided a stunning three-hour ride! Valleys, meadows, lakes, and cattle were all viewed along the ride. We are truly grateful to them for allowing us to hold our fundraiser in such a beautiful, secluded environment!
We had nearly 100 riders, making this ride our most successful yet! With the help of many of our local teachers and volunteers, the day went off without a hitch. Middletown FFA provided a delicious meal, and the prizes donated by several local merchants helped to make this event a true success.
This fundraising ride helped us to garner enough funds to not only continue bringing therapeutic riding to the special education students of Lake County at no charge, but increase the allotments as well. Thank you again to all of the participants for helping us to help the children in our county!
Our next fundraising ride will be Aug. 9, at the beautiful Shannon Ridge Winery in Clearlake Oaks.
