I am a 20 year resident of Twin Lakes Subdivision in Lower Lake, and I am a director on the Lower Lake Waterworks District 1 Board.
I have found Helen Owen to be very interested in our problems with the illegal grows in our community, bringing a blight to our once safe neighborhoods, along with their roaming grow dogs killing our livestock and the constant barrage of automatic gun fire.
Helen has attended Lower Lake Water Board meetings when the topic of wasteful use of water has come up.
Helen has attended Lower Lake Community Action meetings to help us solve issues and address the needs of our community.
I fully support and endorse Helen Owen for District 1 supervisor. I feel if elected, she will be a breath of fresh air to the usual, "do nothing typical politician." She actually responds to phone calls and emails.

She is a good woman and a fantastic community member. Helen, coming from a family with deep generational roots in Lake County, knows our communities. Helen is a lifetime Middletown resident and local business owner. Helen is well known and respected in the South County area.
The Owen family hosts youth rodeo events on their ranch and Helen volunteers her time in numerous ways supporting our communities’ county wide.
One of the ways that she supports our county is that during emergency situations she helps to evacuate, transport and board animals at her ranch.
One of my favorite things about Mrs. Owen is what she does for the Middletown High School Football Program. She established over 20 years ago the presentation of the United States and California Flags on horseback by our equestrian youth at our annual Homecoming Football game. Year after year ever since she has organized and choreographed this highly anticipated tradition that is patriotic and well attended.
I have no doubt in my mind that if elected, Helen Owen will represent District 1 well and absolutely listen to the people.
I am proud to call Helen Owen my friend and I strongly endorse her for District 1 supervisor.

Helen is a long-time resident of Lake County and she is an excellent candidate for District 1 supervisor.
She is a well-respected member of our community, whom I have known for many years.
Helen will bring an understanding of the needs of our county, the need to streamline the county permit process, the need to safeguard our natural resources and the need for responsible budgeting.
She supports our law enforcement and first responders. She has volunteered her time in service to our community on many occasions through the years.
Please join me in voting for Helen Owen for District 1 supervisor.

Helen is not nor has she ever been a bureaucrat. She will look at the way government operates with caution and not assume the position of government as usual. Helen is not afraid to rattle cages, especially when it is apparent to her that a decision will negatively impact the people of her district and the county.
Helen is fair minded, a problem solver, has common sense and she is a hard worker. When issues arise, she will research and she will always have the best interest of the people she represents first.
I have heard it said that she does not have experience working in government. This is a true fact. In my mind, this is refreshing as she is one of us who is willing to step up and stand up for the people.
Please join us and cast your vote for the candidate whose goal is to listen to the people of District 1 and to do her best to represent from a place of honor and integrity.
