LAKEPORT – The Lakeport Police Department will provide a hunter safety training course in the Lakeport City Hall Council Chambers, 225 Park St.

The three-day course will be taught from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 30, and Friday, July 31, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1.

Attendees are required to attend all three days of training. It will be available to the public at no cost ($10 range fee to cover ammunition). Pre-registration is required.
