NORTH COAST, Calif. — Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters, as well as work in Del Norte and Humboldt counties.
Caltrans advises motorists to drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes unless noted otherwise.

LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
Route 20 (1.1/2.4) – Construction work from Blue Lakes Road to Irvine Avenue will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#P20KA
Route 20 (10.8/11.4) – Electrical work near Upper Lake from west of Pomo Way to east of Reclamation Cutoff will occur Thursday and Friday, May 16-17. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P20YA
Route 20 (28) – Utility work in Clearlake Oaks at Oakgrove Avenue will occur on Wednesday, May 15. Lane closures will be in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#P20AA

Route 29 (0/5.8) – Utility work in Middletown from Route 175 to the Napa County Line continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C29LA

Route 175 (18.4/19.3) – Utility work from Summit Boulevard to Estates Drive will conclude on Friday, May 10. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P175BA

Highway 1
Route 1 (10.5/11.4) – Paving work south of Gallaway near Schooner Gulch Road will begin on Monday, May 13. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1YA
Route 1 (18/18.7) – Paving work from the Garcia River Overflow Bridge 10-114 to Stornetta Drive will begin on Monday, May 13. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1YA
Route 1 (29/33.2) – Tree work south of the Elk Creek Bridge 10-120 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1FA
Route 1 (45.4/47.7) – Tree work near the Little River Post Office will occur on Monday, May 13. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1FA
Route 1 (50.8/52.2) – Road work north of Mendocino at Jack Peters Creek Bridge 01-43484 from Little Lakes Road to Surfwood Estates Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1VA

Route 1 (87.8/103.2) – Paving work in Rockport north of Rockport Street to Redwood Forest Foundation Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1QA
Route 1 (104.9/105.5) – Emergency work in Leggett from Jct Route 271 to the South Fork Eel River Bridge 10-149 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1UA
Highway 20

Route 20 (37.9) – Bridge work east of Calpella at the Cold Creek Bridge 10-40 will continue. A full on ramp closure will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should choose an alternate route. LC#C20HA
Highway 101
U.S. 101 (5.9) – Utility work from the Comminsky Sidehill Viaduct 10-268 to Comminsky Station Road will conclude on Tuesday, May 14. Lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#M101GA
U.S. 101 (5.9) – Bridge work at the Pieta Creek Bridge 10-133 will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101WD
