Cal Fire to hold Kincade fire community meeting in Middletown Wednesday evening

MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – Cal Fire will host a community meeting in Middletown to offer an update on the Kincade fire on the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 30.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Twin Pine Casino & Hotel, 22223 Highway 29, Middletown.

The meeting will be live streamed on the county of Lake Facebook page.

As of Cal Fire’s latest report on Wednesday morning, the fire – which began Oct. 23 in Sonoma County – has burned 76,825 acres and is 30-percent contained.

Parts of south Lake County, including areas in Cobb Mountain and Middletown, are under evacuation warnings due to the close proximity of the fire.
