AARP warns of government grant scams

Government grant scams often pop up following an election.

You may get a call or read an ad for a free grant from the government.

You’ll be promised that your grant application will be accepted and you’ll never have to pay the money back. All you need to do is provide your checking account information for the deposit. This is a red flag.
