LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Are you looking for a way to help with the wildfire response?
The American Red Cross is immediately seeking volunteers to assist with disaster response in Lake County. Help is needed with shelters, feeding, logistics and administrative tasks.
Red Cross volunteer training will be held on Thursday, Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with lunch provided.
Come to the Methodist Church in Middletown, 15833 Armstrong St., to register and get training to become a Red Cross volunteer.
They will cover shelter fundamentals and feeding.
The Red Cross also will be processing new volunteers from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday.
