LAKEPORT – The Lakeport Library now has story times for preschool-age children every Friday from 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The correct starting time is 10:15 a.m., not 10:45 a.m. as reported recently.

Storytellers from the library staff and the Families For Literacy program alternate in presenting stories and activities for the children.

Special speakers present programs on some Fridays.

The Lakeport Library is located at 1425 N. High St. It's open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesday, noon to 8 p.m. The phone number is 263-8817.
