Youth center, Toys for Tots partner for July 19 'Christmas in July' event

CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The Lake County Youth Center and Toys for Tots have joined forces to help the children of Lake County through the new “Christmas in July” event.

Christmas in July will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at the youth center, located at 4750 Golf Ave. in Clearlake.

During the day of the event they will accept unwrapped toys at different locations.

The day will include fun for all ages – games, food including a barbecue, vendors, live music, a motorcycle run and the chance for children to tell Santa their wishes for this coming Christmas.
