Stewardship council to hold meeting on Eel River April 27

UKIAH, Calif. – The Pacific Forest and Watershed Lands Stewardship Council will hold the final of six upcoming public information meetings for select Pacific Gas & Electric-owned watershed lands on Wednesday, April 27.


The meeting will be held from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Ukiah Valley Conference Center's Chenin Blanc Room, 200 S. School St., Ukiah.


The final meeting concerns the following Eel River planning unit within Lake and Mendocino counties.


The purpose of the public information meetings is to update participants on the Stewardship Council’s land conservation program and to solicit input on the future stewardship of these watershed lands.

The Stewardship Council is a private, non-profit foundation that is responsible for developing and implementing a land conservation plan for approximately 140,000 acres of PG&E-owned watershed lands.
