Gator Beat Zydeco Band to perform live at charter school

MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – The Lake County International Charter School (LCICS) is holding its fourth annual Live & Give Celebration and Auction on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The theme for this year’s event is “Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler,” or “Let the Good Times Roll,” and they definitely will with live music from Gator Beat, a groovin’ Sonoma County based Zydeco band.

Cajun/Creole appetizers created by Chic Le Chef in Hidden Valley Lake, a complimentary cup of local micro-brewed ale, dancing, and both silent and live auctions will guarantee an amazing evening at the Moore Family Winery at 11990 Bottle Rock Road in Cobb.

LCICS Charter Council secretary Valerie Moberg said, “As a small, public school LCICS very much depends on the support of the community to continue to exist as a free educational option for Lake County families. This is our largest fundraiser of the year, and while educating the children of our community is a serious business, we all need to have more fun in our lives. With Gator Beat’s live performance, this year’s Live & Give is sure to be our most exciting event yet!”

Tickets can be purchased for $30 per person at the door on the evening of the event, and at Funtopia Toys at 21208 Calistoga Road in Middletown, at the LCICS Office at 15850 Armstrong St., by calling 707-963-3063 or by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots.
