LAKE COUNTY – County Public Services Director Kim K. Clymire announced last week that the county Parks and Recreation Division will award mini grants to nonprofit recreational organizations that provide recreation opportunities in the community.

A maximum of $30,000 is available in funding with a cap of $5,000 per grant award.

These mini grants are being made available in an effort to show support for county recreation programs during a time when the county cannot afford to fund and operate a countywide recreation division.
