SACRAMENTO – The California Department of Food and Agriculture's Division of Animal Health and Food Safety Services is announcing a vacancy on the Cattle Health Advisory Task Force, or CHATF.
Food and Agricultural Code Section 10610 provides for the establishment of a task force to advise the secretary on the control and management of cattle diseases and evaluate the effectiveness of cattle health programs.
The term of office for a member of CHATF is two years.
Members of the committee receive no compensation, but they are entitled to reimbursement for per diem expenses such as: mileage, lodging, meals, and incidental expenses.
The vacancy is for one member representing the California Animal Health and Food Safety Laboratories.
