LAKEPORT, Calif. – A new restaurant is preparing to open in Lakeport.

Giovanni's Skyroom Restaurant at Lampson Field is aiming to be open before St. Patrick's Day.

The Italian-themed restaurant will specialize in steaks, pasta and classic Italian dishes, but also will include different American and Mediterranean cuisines. All food will be made from scratch.

The restaurant also will feature a full bar.
