LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – MPIC Inc., the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Program provider for Lake County and Manager of WorkforceLake Business and Career, has received a special grant targeted to help laid off workers from the highest impacted industries in Lake County.
Services provided may include assistance with the cost of training including tuition and books, paid on-the-job training, relocation assistance, interview and work clothes.
MPIC has been serving laid-off workers with the training assistance they need to become re-employed for more than 20 years in Lake and Mendocino counties.
WorkforceLake Business and Career Centers offer computers, printers, fax machines, copiers, employment related workshops and seminars, and one-on-one employment and training assistance to help people get back to work.
