LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lake County Chamber Economic Development Committee will meet on Friday, Oct. 18.
The meeting will take place from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. upstairs in the Umpqua Bank meeting room, 805 11th St. in Lakeport.
Agenda items include a report on the importance of the nonprofit sector to the county economy, with several leaders from local nonprofits to speak, including Gloria Flaherty of Lake Family Resource Center, Anya Koot of Hospice Services of Lake County and Ileen Dumont of People Services. There also will be a question and answer session.
Other items will include a report on broadband and discussion of a business walk.
