LAKEPORT, Calif. – Two local businesses recently presented funds raised during their “add a dollar” campaigns to help pay for the city's annual fireworks display.

Lake County Chamber President Jim Magliulo recently received a $500 check from Jackie and Jeff Hanson, owners of Grocery Outlet in Lakeport, and a $2,399.18 check from Bruno’s Shop Smart Manager Carlos Fagundes.

The checks will be forwarded to the city of Lakeport to help defray the cost of the July 4 fireworks over Library Park in Lakeport.
