LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Main Street Association recently honored Pieces Boutique with the “Best Storefront Presentation Award” for the month of January.
The association's Economic Restructure Committee nominated Pieces Boutique for the award based on the quality of the store's streetside appearance.
Owner Danna Bell was commended for the store's beautifully decorated and colorful windows and the well maintained state of its storefront.
To honor Pieces Boutique's contribution to the downtown, Economic Restructure Committee Chair Sarah Delk and members Earlene Taylor and Wilda Shock presented a certificate of excellence to Bell and her sales associate, Debi Frogue.
Pieces Boutique, a mainstay of the downtown scene since it opened six years ago, is located at 155 N. Main St. in Lakeport and offers gently used department store women’s clothing labels for a fraction of the original cost.
The boutique is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays and Mondays.
