LAKEPORT, Calif. – Main Street Gifts was recently recognized by the Lakeport Main Street Association (LMSA) for the quality of its streetside appearance and was presented with the “Best Storefront Presentation Award” for the month of December.
The downtown Lakeport store was nominated by members of LMSA’s Economic Restructure Committee and is the first merchant to receive this newly-instituted honor.
LMSA commends owner Cathi DeMacsek and store manager Barbara Szal on consistently well decorated windows and an overall clean and attractive storefront.
A certificate of excellence was presented on January 29th to Main Street Gifts by Economic Restructure Committee Chair Sarah Delk of the Record-Bee and Nancy Ruzicka of Ruzicka Associates and High Street Village, also a committee member.
Main Street Gifts is located at 115 N. Main in Lakeport and offers a wide range of unique items including candles; soap; collectables of Elvis, Marilyn, John Wayne and Betty Boop; a large selection of fairies; garden art; hats; knives; swords; cars and planes.
The store, which two years ago moved just a couple doors down to its present location, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information call 707-263-7288.
