“The food is more on the gourmet side and I also have vegetarian sandwiches,” said owner Jeanne Bower, who first came to Lake County in the 1970s. “This is the home of the Whoopie Pie. What is the Whoopie Pie you ask? Well, you’ll just have to come find out.”
She also will make goodies from the fresh apples and walnuts she has growing from trees on the back patio area.
Wifi is available to all customers.
Bower rides a Harley Davidson – a sportster – hence the name “Harley Hippie’s.” She welcomes fliers of upcoming motorcycle runs and other information, which she will post.
Harley Hippie's is pet friendly.
The café is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
