COBB – Rob Roy Golf Course hosted this year's Lake County Association of Realtors Installation Dinner.

The theme of this year's dinner was music and fashion of the 1950s. Many of the 87 guests were dressed in poodle skirts, lettered sweaters and jackets. Pony tails and Brill cream were worn by many attendees. Ray Perry provided music and songs reflecting the sounds of the 1950s.

Larry Heine, CAR Region IV director, swore in the new officers for 2010.

Anita McKee, the 2010 president, stated that she is honored to work with such a talented group of directors.

The LCAOR directors for 2010 are President Elect 2011 Linda Lindeblad, Finance Director Victoria Gindele, and Board members John Everett, Rick White, Ray Perry, Bobby Dutcher, Cheryl Marinaro, Elizabeth Davis, Leslie Kirchner, Larry Oslin, Tom Pelandini and Anna Macomber.

President Anita McKee announced that LCAOR Realtor of the Year is Larry Heine of Sun Property Group.

Heine was chosen based on his long and active history in Lake County. He has twice been president of LCAOR, CAR Region IV director, an active member of the Farm Bureau and he is currently a member of the Lake County Grand Jury.

Manny Santos was chosen as Affiliate of the Year. Santos is a home mortgage consultant with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and has sponsored several LCAOR events.

LCAOR would like to thank Scott Knickmeyer, LCAOR association executive, for wearing many hats during the year. His organization and delivery is much appreciated by the membership of LCAOR.

A special thanks to Julie Alves, LCAOR association executive assistant, for providing her expertise to every member of LCAOR.

The Scholarship Committee is proud to announce that the silent auction raised $1,428 for the 2010 Scholarship Fund.

LCAOR would like to thank our Lake County business community and private citizenry for their generous donations which were auctioned this year. A very special thank you to Leslie Kirchner, Kalyn Noble and Ann Marie Borges who worked tirelessly to contact business owners for their donations.

McKee has made it her mission to encourage all Lake County business owners, property owners and citizens to engage in discussions to improve the quality of Clearlake.

Our beautiful lake is in need of active support from all the communities which it supports commercially.
