LAKEPORT, Calif. – The zany 1939 Marx Brothers comedy, “At the Circus,” starring Groucho, Chico and Harpo, screens at the Soper Reese Theatre on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 1 and 6 p.m.

Entry to the film is by donation.

“At the Circus” keeps audiences happy with Groucho’s perfect singing rendition of “Lydia the Tattooed Lady,” as well as the film’s wacky denouement with a pompous conductor and orchestra set adrift in the ocean.

Don’t miss grand dame Margaret Dumont who gets shot out of a cannon. There’s plenty of witty Groucho zingers and vintage Harpo madness to go around too.

The movie is sponsored by Michael Lorenzini. Not rated. Run time is 1 hour and 27 minutes.

The Soper Reese Theatre is located at 275 S. Main St., Lakeport, 707-263-0577, www.soperreesetheatre.com.
