LAKEPORT, Calif. – The 1978 drama, “Days of Heaven,” screens at the Soper Reese Theatre on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 1 and 6 p.m.

This classic film stars Richard Gere, Brooke Adams, Linda Manz and Sam Shepard.

Entry to the film is by donation.

Terrence Malick confirmed his reputation as a visual poet and narrative iconoclast with a story of love and murder told through the jaded voice of a child and expressive images of nature.

Visually, it’s one of the most beautiful films ever made, a breathtaking American art film.
