MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – The Middletown Art Center invites the public to immerse themselves in a world of sound and rhythm on Saturday, April 21, from 7 to 10 p.m.

Mind bending, body shaking music will be performed by The Echo Conspiracy. DJ Nic will keep the dance floor moving with a blend of deep and dynamic grooves.

Artist Laura Kennedy will light up the studio with a pop up gallery. Soon leaving the area, a variety of Kennedy’s colorful and textural assemblages, abstract paintings, collages and sculptures will be for sale.

Be sure to catch this opportunity to purchase some wonderful artwork at reduced rates and support Kennedy as she embarks on the next phase of her personal journey.

The Echo Conspiracy is an electronic dance band that combines live musicians with slamming electronic beats and heavy bass.

The sounds from the live musicians are spontaneously recorded and transformed into new sounds, rhythms and textures that become entwined with the electronic elements.

This Saturday’s performance will feature Shane Powers on trumpet with Heather Kipnis providing vocals and lyrical guidance.

Special guests this time will be Taressa Bell also contributing vocals and Hallelujah Blessing on percussion. Beats and treatments by Brian Ward.

The cover charge is $5. A no-host bar will be onsite.

MAC is located at 21456 State Highway 175 at the junction of Highway 29 in Middletown. Visit www.middletownartcenter.org to learn more about MAC and the burgeoning arts scene in south Lake County.
