MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – Join Clive Matson this Saturday, March 10, from noon to 5 p.m. for the Resilience Writers Workshop.
Children age 12 and up and adults of all ages are encouraged to join this supportive group of writers. The cost is just $5 per person.
Please reserve your spot at www.middletownartcenter.org/resilience.
At 6:30 p.m. the public is invited to enjoy a round robin style of Resilience Writers sharing pieces created during the past nine months of the year long workshop led by Clive Matson and guest facilitators Casey Carney and Russell Gonzaga.
Participants of all or any of the writing workshops are encouraged to attend and to share their work in this supportive gathering.
Admission to the reading is free. Donations are graciously accepted to support the poet laureate selection event on April 29 at the art center.
Sharing is a natural and powerful stage of the healing process which allows us to negotiate with challenging experiences, and discover personal and collective strength through our human vulnerabilities and creative passions. Join them to celebrate the community’s resilience.
Sponsored in part by the California Arts Council and Adventist Health, the Resilience Project offers low cost workshops in photography, poetry/written and spoken word, painting and printmaking that cycle through the first through fourth Saturdays of each month until May at the Middletown Art Center.
