LAKEPORT, Calif. – On Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, The Guitarsonists will be playing a Sulphur fire benefit concert from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Soper-Reese Theatre in Lakeport.

The benefit is produced by Spotlight On Productions along with the Soper Reese Theatre, in partnership with The Time Bank of Thrive Lake County. Proceeds will be directed to the NCO Sulphur Fire Fund.

The Guitarsonists is a rockin' blues band boasting three guitarists: Chris Cain, Mighty Mike Schermer and Daniel Castro.

The band is backed by Steve Evans on bass and Mick Mesteck on drums.

Chris Cain is known worldwide and currently on tour in Argentina. He last played Lake County at the 2016 Blue Wing Blues Festival. He says he is looking forward to the opportunity to help out Lake County.

Mighty Mike Schermer of Austin, Texas, enjoys including the Blue Wing Saloon on his tour schedules.

He headlined the September 2016 Valley Fire Tribute Concert at the Ely Stage Stop & Country Museum, which was also produced by Spotlight On Productions.

Daniel Castro has been seen in Lake County at Concerts in the Park in Lakeport. His gritty, blistering style has made him a hot draw in the Bay Area since moving from Los Angeles in the 90s.

Advance ticket purchase is recommended. This will be a rare treat for Lake County to see all three guitarists together, so this benefit should sell out. Ticket prices are $25 table seating, $20 loge or $15. The dance floor will be open.
