Town hall planned for Clearlake Oaks, Glenhaven

 

The first town hall meeting, for the Clearlake Oaks and Glenhaven communities, will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the Clearlake Oaks Moose Lodge, located at the intersection of Hwy 20 and Hwy 53.


Topics addressed at that meeting will include:
- Presentation of the Clearlake Oaks Community Survey results.
- Projects update: The Plaza, Community Parks, Highway 20 Improvements.
- Community discussion of open issues and questions going forward, including community task force and cleanup.
- Shoreline Area planning update.
- Open forum.

Also in attendance will be Kelly Cox, Lake County's chief administrative officer; Eric Seely, deputy director, Lake County Redevelopment; Rick Coel, director of Lake County's Community Development Department; Kim Clymire, director of Lake County Parks and Recreation; and Sheriff Rod Mitchell.

As in the past, there will be free tables set up for local groups, organizations or businesses wishing to distribute informational literature or promote upcoming events. For more information, please contact Holly Harris or Chuck Lamb, 998-0135.


Rushing also will provide an update of the town hall meeting for those unable to attend just after lunch on Friday, Jan. 26, at the Clearlake Oaks Live Oak Senior Center, located on Foothill Boulevard.


A town hall meeting for the Lucerne community will take place on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Lucerne
Senior Center, located at 10th and Country Club. Community meetings are planned for Upper Lake in
March, Spring Valley in April, Nice in May and Blue Lakes in June, with dates and times to be announced.
