LAKEPORT – The second annual Martin Luther King Jr. Diversity Fair was hosted by Americorps Monday.

Konocti Harbor at center of federal lawsuit

KELSEYVILLE – Konocti Harbor Resort & Spa is at the heart of an attempt by five American Indian tribes and a prospective buyer to place a casino at the resort, says a county supervisor. It's also the basis of a federal case alleging the resort's owners misused pension funds to renovate the resort and concert venue.

Hughes motion scheduled for today

LAKEPORT – A motion for a change-of-venue for the trial of 22-year-old Renato Hughes Jr. of San Francisco, accused of murder by accomplice, was expected to be heard in Lake County Superior Court early this morning.
