East Region Town Hall to hear latest on revitalization initiative

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The East Region Town Hall, or ERTH, will hear about a revitalization initiative and discuss other area projects this week.

The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, at the Moose Lodge, located at 15900 Moose Lodge Lane in Clearlake Oaks.

The meeting will be available via Zoom. The meeting ID is 813 6295 6146, pass code is 917658.

It also will be livestreamed on the Lake County Peg TV YouTube channel.

This month, ERTH will host guest speaker Julia Sullivan of the Lake County Resource Conservation District.

Sullivan will offer an overview, status and timeline for the Clearlake Oaks Revitalization Initiative for the restoration and rehabilitation of Schindler Creek and the Clear Lake Keys.

ERTH business will include the latest from the Land Use Committee, the Road Safety Committee and activities and the District 3 MAC Alliance.

There also will be updates on the UC Davis Hypolimnetic Oxygenation Project, Lake County Capital Improvement Projects and Road Plan for the ERTH Region, Clearlake Oaks County Water Company Proposed Rate Increases, Pacific Gas and Electric, the commercial cannabis report and cannabis ordinance, Spring Valley and Northshore Fire.

ERTH’s next meeting will take place on Aug. 5.
