Lakeport City Lands Ad Hoc Committee to discuss

LAKEPORT, Calif. – A city of Lakeport committee tasked with looking at city-owned property will meet this week.

The Lakeport City Lands Ad Hoc Committee will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, in the front conference room at Lakeport City Hall, 225 Park St.

Committee members are Mayor Brandon Disney and Councilwoman Stacey Mattina, along with City Manager Kevin Ingram and Administrative Services Director Kelly Buendia.

On the agenda is an update from staff on the Lake County Arts Council’s operation of the
Silveira Community Center, including coordination of reservations.

Staff also will request direction on the Lakeport Yacht Club’s requested changes to its lease with the city.

Under ongoing projects, staff will present updates on the licensing agreement for cattle on the City of Lakeport Municipal Sewer District property; electric vehicle infrastructure at City Hall, the Lakeport Police Department and corporation yard; park cameras and a demo by IntelviAI; seaplane dock estimates for the Fifth Street Boat Ramp; andonoing projects with the Lakeport Fire Protection District’s Station 50.

In other business, staff will seek the committee’s 2026 priorities with recommendations on community center operations; hotel marketing for the Dutch Harbor property; long-term planning for city-owned facilities; art in the park guidelines; and activation of “hidden open spaces” at the Vista Point Overlook and Courthouse Square.

The committee is scheduled to hold a closed session to discuss properties at 910, 912 and 916 Bevins St., 916 N. Forbes St., 1330 Eleventh St., 1041 Manzanita St. and 1290 Sixth St.
