LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Planning Commission will hold a special meeting this week to welcome its newest member and select the new year’s leadership.
The commission will meet beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, in the council chambers at Lakeport City Hall, 225 Park St.
On the agenda is the swearing-in of newly appointed Planning Commissioner Jeff Warrenburg.
The Lakeport City Council on Dec. 17 approved Warrenburg’s appointment to a seat vacated by Jeri Driver, as Lake County News has reported.
The commission also will hold its annual election of officers.
In other business, commissioners will discuss and review a possible amendment to the Lakeport Zoning Ordinance Chapter 17.12 and 17.52 concerning the regulation of portable sandwich board signs in the Central Business zoning district.
