3.4-magnitude quake reported in Cobb area

COBB, Calif. – A 3.4-magnitude earthquake occurred early Thursday morning near Cobb.

The quake occurred at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, according to the US Geological Survey.

The US Geological Survey said the quake was located three miles west of Cobb and 13 miles southwest of Clearlake, at a depth of 1.6 miles.

The survey received eight shake reports from Calistoga, Lower Lake, Kelseyville and Geyserville.
