How to resolve AdBlock issue? LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Police Department reported that a suspected dangerous device has been successfully detonated.
The object was located in the area of Fourth and North Forbes streets, the agency said.
While a bomb squad was working to detonate the device at around 3 p.m. Thursday, North Forbes Street was closed between Third and Fifth streets and people in the area were instructed to stay indoors.
Shortly after 3 p.m. police said the situation was all clear and safe, and reported that the roadway was to reopen.
